Dr. Bashir Aliyu is the ADP candidate for Gwale State Constituency in the Kano State House of Assembly, 2027. His academic record runs from a B.Sc. in Political Science (1997) to a Ph.D. in Criminology and Sociology of Deviance (2025).

He has taught in Kano State secondary schools since 2008, lectures voluntarily in Sociology at Bayero University, Kano, and has worked in the pharmaceutical sector, in community development in Galadanchi Ward, and in research on crime and drug enterprises in Kano.
